Sweethearts Prom 2013

April 13th 6-9pm SLT

GEAR UP Sweethearts.. because Saturday April 13, 2013 from 6pm -9pm... is PROM NIGHT!!! Get your dates, buy your courages HERE off the kiosk, have your photo taken underneath the cliche arch, and listen to the cheesy 80's band in lacy tuxes, 'cause we're goin' to PROM! This week is HOMECOMING. All the Sweethearts that haven't been in to see us in a while, guests from the past we're inviting BACK to Sweethearts and ending the week with Prom Night! Complete with prom  king and queen voting, a carriage ride into prom or perhaps a limo, a spiked punch bowel and more!! Don't miss it!

Sweethearts Wants YOU!

 Sweethearts Is Hiring HOSTS & HOSTESSES!

Are you looking for the perfect job opportunity?  One that provides a way for you to pay for your SL home, clothing and fun activities?  Even make REAL LIFE MONEY! Starting at $L100 per hour, plus 100% tips.  Come by for an application on our hiring easels.

Donation for Alz.org.. MADE!

Congratulations Sweethearts!!! Together we were able to raise L$ 242,684 For alz.org! This came to be aprox $942.00 USD! Blake and Shannon decided to put the 350 L Membership fees from Sweethearts Select to round it up for a full donation of a $1000.00 USD Donation!!!! 

The donation has officially been made! The Alz.org was so impressed with YOUR donations that they honored us with a page of our own!!!  They honored ALL of our names collected from the Wall of Loved Ones!

Thank you to the Sweethearts Staff, for working so hard and also donating every single piece of art work to the charity auction, to DJ Mactox, DJ Squin, Jaynine Scarborough, DJ Enforcer, DJ PsyLynn, DJ Xanthia, Debi Latte, and DJ CC Manen for entertaining us all day for this awesome cause. We'd like to thank Firestorm, The Phoenix Firestorm Progect Inc. for allowing us to be on the login screen. We thank you, the guests of Sweethearts for your overwhelming generosity and the stories of struggles and hopes. Thank you to Blake Hambleton for his ever forward encouragement that we could do this, and for helping me keep my sanity through my tears the day of the event.

Dj Squin said, "there needs to be a cure so that our children don't have to suffer this loss as our parents the way we do." DJ CC Manen Said " 1 in 8 people will suffer from dementia in their lidetime, this could be anyone of us, that wakes up in the morning not knowing who the person beside them is, or who we even are." Each one of you was instrumental in giving this donation.

Creations For Parkinsons! See.. it helps!

Sweethearts assisted Creations for Parkinson's last June in raising money and awarness for Parkinson's. Fran Serenade and her Daughter Barbie, are the leaders behind the Parkinson's movement in SL. Sweethearts was honored to help their endevors last year. Fran and Barbie were also present for the Alzheimer Dementia fundraiser last week! An article was written about Fran and we wanted to share it with you! By watching her avatars movements she's been able to regain some of her own in real life! The link to the story is below.

Alzheimer Dementia Donations!
